The explanation in section 4 was very confusing to me when I did it in the shop. The picture below shows how the holes are be arranged. There should be two of each leg.
You can also see the 3/8 holes bored in teh center of the countersinks for
the bolts.
The picture below shows the bolts in the holes to better illustrate the
relationship of the bolt holes and the marks to indicate leg position.
